WHEN CAN I MOVE IN?
If there is a storage space available that meets your specific storage needs, you can move in any day by renting the unit on the website. Same-day rentals will need to wait for an email with your gate call or call our facility.
HOW MUCH NOTICE NEEDS TO BE GIVEN BEFORE I MOVE OUT?
All contracts are month-to-month. While most places require a 30-day notice, we require a minimum of 14 days before you move out, by the 15th of the month you want to vacate. Please email your move-out notice to support@meadowlarkstorage.com. It needs to be in writing.
DO I NEED TO SIGN A LONG-TERM LEASE?
No, all units are rented on a month-to-month basis.
HOW DO I MAKE A PAYMENT?
You can mail a check or money order to P. O. Box 23 Fredonia, WI 53021, make a payment through our website, or call us at 262-483-0807. We also have an Automated Payment Line: (262) 288-2556.
We also prefer all customers to set up ACH.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
ACH, Checks, money orders, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
SNOW PLOWING
We plow 40 acres per snow event and it can take up to 20 hours (not including sleeping) to plow all 6 locations with 3 machines. We plow out the main aisles first and come back to do clean up.
If you are planning a move-in or move-out, please check the snow forecast and contact us if you need special access during a snow event.
HOW DO I KNOW HOW MUCH STORAGE SPACE I WILL NEED?
ARE THERE ANY ITEMS THAT I AM NOT ABLE TO STORE?
Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials, and perishables. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.
WHAT IF I FORGET MY GATE CODE?
At the time of signing, your gate code will be in the lease. If you forget it, text or call us.
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO USE THE "FREE MOVE IN TRUCK"
The 17 ft Move In Truck is free within 2 weeks of rental, if it is available. We allow 80 free miles, and you are required to refuel. If you do not you will be charged $15/gal for us to do it. We require you to email your driver's license and insurance card to us prior to setting up the Free use of the Truck to our email support@meadowlarkstorage.com at least 24 hours in advance.
DO YOU HAVE HANDCARTS AVAILABLE AT YOUR FACILITY?
Yes. You are welcome to use our complimentary carts to move into the Climate Controlled Buildings.
